General Liability Release

I acknowledge that therapeutic massage is not a replacement for conventional medical treatment or medication.

I understand that the massage therapist does not diagnose medical conditions, injuries, or prescribe medications.

I confirm that I have obtained clearance from my physician to receive massage therapy.

I am aware of the potential risks associated with massage therapy, which may include, but are not limited to, superficial bruising, temporary muscle soreness, and the aggravation of undiagnosed injuries.

I hereby release the company and the individual massage therapist from any and all liability regarding any injuries that may occur during the massage session.

I acknowledge the importance of informing my massage therapist of all relevant medical conditions and medications I am currently taking, and I will notify the therapist of any changes to these conditions.

I understand that additional risks may exist based on my physical condition.

I recognize that it is my responsibility to communicate any discomfort I may experience during the session so that the therapist can make necessary adjustments.

I understand that either myself or the massage therapist may choose to terminate the session at any time.

I affirm that I have been given the opportunity to ask any questions regarding the massage therapy session, and all of my questions have been addressed.

Inappropriate Behavior

Massage therapy is intended solely for relaxation and therapeutic purposes. There is absolutely no sexual component to any massage session. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request of a sexual nature will result in the immediate termination of the session and the refusal of all future services. You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the session's duration. Depending on the nature of the behavior, we reserve the right to report the incident to local authorities. We ask that all clients treat their therapist with the utmost respect and dignity, as we are committed to offering the same in return.

Pre-Payment, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

We ask that you notify us of any cancellations or changes to your appointment at least 48 hours in advance.

When cancellations occur within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment, we may not be able to fill that time slot. This can prevent other clients from receiving the massage services they need.

If you cancel or miss your appointment within 48 hours, regardless of how the booking was made (online, over the phone, or via text), you will be charged the full service fee, and no refund will be provided.

If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, or in the case of an emergency or illness beyond your control, your pre-payment will be credited toward future services.

To ensure the smooth operation of our scheduling, we reserve the right to require pre-payment at the time of booking.

We understand that emergencies and illnesses can arise unexpectedly. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment, we request that you cancel your session for the safety and well-being of all parties.

Similarly, inclement weather may require us to cancel or reschedule appointments. We will do our best to provide advance notice if we need to reschedule due to weather conditions. Late cancellations due to emergencies, illness, or weather will generally not incur cancellation fees, but this will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Mobile Massage and Safety

For the safety of the licensed massage therapist, new clients may be required to pass a background check before their consultation and appointment.

In the event that the licensed massage therapist chooses to cancel the appointment based on the background check results, a refund will be issued for the massage payment (as pre-payment is required).

Additionally, all new clients (with the exception of chair events or spa parties) are required to participate in a complimentary 15-minute consultation prior to their first appointment. This consultation ensures that the space is clean, safe, and large enough for the massage table to be set up. The consultation will be conducted in person, AFTER your massage therapy appointment has been booked and paid for. At this consultation, the massage therapist will discuss massage therapy goals and any other relevant information. This consultation ensures a smooth process on the day of the massage. It is only done for new clients before their first massage.

Furthermore, for added security, the massage therapist’s location and appointment details are shared with a trusted individual at all times. Should there be any concern regarding the safety of the therapist, local authorities will be contacted immediately.

Your understanding and respect for your massage therapist's safety is appreciated!
